18 year old Teenager Deny Allegations in Kasoa Ritual Murder Case.
Teenager pleads not guilty to claims of murder.
The 18-year-old teenager who is a suspect in the alleged Kasoa ritual murder case has rejected the claims made by State Prosecutors that he and the 15-year-old co-accused had planned to seek spiritual powers for wealth.
Additionally, the second accused has denied allegations that he discussed with the first accused about traveling to the Volta Region for spiritual assistance if their initial plans failed.
Both teenagers are facing charges of conspiracy and murder in the High Court in Accra under the jurisdiction of Justice Lydia Osei Marfo. While the 15-year-old has confessed to the crime, stating they acted together, the 18-year-old has pleaded not guilty.
EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah, reports that State Prosecutors, led by Nana Adoma Osei, are currently cross-examining him to assess the credibility of his testimony before Justice Lydia Osei Marfo’s court.
