Attempt to break longest standing marathon(stand-a-thon)
A Ghanaian man identified as Patrick Amenuvor, a photographer and content creator has began his 7 days journey of being motionless with the reason of gaining Guinness World Recognition for the longest Standing Marathon (stand-a-thon).
In the past month, 3 people from Ghana have participated in gaining recognition in the sight of Guinness . The first was Afua Asantewaa who engaged in the longest singing marathon. The second was chef Faila who also undertook the longest cooking marathon and the 3rd being a young male Makeup artist who applied lipstick to about 10 ladies within 30 seconds.
Just as Guinness book of records announced that it had received over 350 applications from Ghana, it is not surprising that Patrick Amenuvor is undertaking the longest standing marathon. He hopes to end on the 14th of January. That is a total of 7 days and 168+ hours.
The 3 others are awaiting their responses from Guinness to see if they were successful.
