Stonebwoy Graduates from GIMPA with Second Class Upper in Public Administration

Celebrated musician Stonebwoy has successfully graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a Second Class Upper degree in Public Administration. This milestone marks the culmination of an educational journey he resumed in 2021 after putting his studies on hold to pursue a thriving music career.

The graduation ceremony, held at GIMPA’s premises on July 26, was a grand affair, attended by his family and music industry colleagues, including Chris Waddle. Stonebwoy’s wife, Dr. Louisa, a certified dentist, and their two children, Catherine Jidula and Janam, were there to celebrate his accomplishment. Known for her unwavering support, Dr. Louisa played a pivotal role in the artiste’s return to academia by purchasing his admission forms and encouraging him to continue his education.

Stonebwoy’s decision to focus on public administration was driven by his passion for public welfare and his belief in the importance of contributing to society through this field. After completing his final exams, the Satekla family hosted a celebratory party at their home.

This achievement is another feather in the cap for Stonebwoy, who is also the reigning TGMA Artist of The Year. His journey through GIMPA showcases his dedication and ability to balance a successful music career with academic pursuits.
