Dozens of Ghanaians Left In Tears After CEO of Dek-Nock Investments Runs Away to America with their Money
Scores of Ghanaians are facing overwhelming distress following the sudden closure of an investment company where many had entrusted significant sums of money, some amounting to thousands of Ghana cedis. The Bank of Ghana took decisive action to shut down Dek-Nock investment company in Nungua-Buade due to its operation without a license, plunging customers into chaos.
Upon learning of the closure, customers rushed to the company’s premises hoping to retrieve their funds, only to discover that the owner was nowhere to be found. There are reports suggesting that the owner may have fled the country with the invested money.
Meanwhile, distraught customers, some of whom claim losses exceeding Ghc 60,000, now find themselves in a dire situation reminiscent of the Menzgold crisis, struggling with financial uncertainty and the fear of being left penniless.
