CAF Celebrates Ghanaian Football Icon , Asamoah Gyan

With an illustrious career that spanned nearly 2 decades , the Baby Jet made a lot of impact on and off the field with notable achievements .

Making his debut at the world cup in 2006 with the Black Stars , Asamoah Gyan went on to become africa’s all time top goalscorer at the “Mundial” with 6 goals surpassing the Legendary Roger Miller of Comeroon .

This feat was celebrated by CAF on Wednesday , 12 July , 2023 as it was featured on their “Wednesday Wizards” post on Twitter which is often aimed at celebrating Africa’s biggest achievements and achievers in the sporting world .
