Kwesi Arthur Threatens Legal Action Against Efia Odo Over Podcast Comments
Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has escalated his ongoing feud with Efia Odo, warning the actress that he’s ready to take legal action against her. The tension between the two reignited after Efia Odo appeared on a podcast where she addressed their fallout, claiming they were just friends and denying any romantic involvement. However, Kwesi Arthur believes that his name is being strategically used to boost her marketing efforts, a pattern he claims has gone on for too long.
Frustrated by what he sees as an ongoing exploitation of his name, Kwesi Arthur took to social media, declaring that any further mention of him would be handled by his lawyer in court. He accused Efia Odo and her team of consistently tying his name to her projects to generate buzz. “You, your team, and networks only roll out your songs or shows with my name attached as a marketing strategy,” he tweeted, vowing that he won’t speak on the matter again outside of a courtroom.
Efia Odo, however, hit back with a series of fiery posts on X, mocking Kwesi Arthur for reacting to what she believes are out-of-context clips from her podcast. She dismissed his claims, stating, “Dumbass ain’t even watch the show, now you’re looking goofy exposing yourself.” She further denied any intent to use Kwesi Arthur’s name for attention, boldly asserting, “I am the CLOUT, fuck you mean.”
The drama has quickly gained attention online, with fans divided over who’s in the right as the public spat shows no signs of cooling down.
