The longest-ever documented Burmese python has been captured in South Florida.

What started as a slow night ended with a three-minute wrestle with the invasive predator. The python lunged toward the hunter with its mouth wide open while trying to wrap around his body.

The snake was taken to a conservancy, where it weighed in at 125 pounds and spanned 19 feet. Previously, the longest Burmese python recorded was 18 feet, 9 inches.
