Salifu Amoako’s Son Did Not Intentionally Kill The 2 Girls in The Accident – Bullgod
Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has publicly challenged claims that Archbishop Salifu Amoako’s son intentionally caused the fatal accident that resulted in the deaths of two girls.
He emphasized that describing the incident as murder implies malice and intent, which has not been established.
Clarifying the Incident
Bullgod explained that the footage from the accident does not support the notion of intentional harm.
He suggested that the appropriate charge should be manslaughter until investigations prove otherwise. “I disagree with the murder claims because such a thing comes with malice and intention to do so, but none of us can establish that fact. The videos do not show that act,” Bullgod stated during an appearance on United Showbiz.
Criticism of Salifu Amoako’s Statements
Bullgod also criticized Archbishop Salifu Amoako for his comments defending his son, stating that the timing of his remarks was problematic.
“That statement was very foolish. I am not saying the man himself is. With what he said, if you probe into the matter, it was not wrong, but the timing was problematic,” he added.
Salifu Amoako had urged the public to be measured in their criticisms, noting that his son did not hold a gun to kill anyone and that the incident was an accident.
Details of the Accident
The tragic accident occurred on October 12, 2024, when Salifu Amoako’s son, Elrad, was speeding towards a junction and collided with another vehicle, causing a fire.
The crash resulted in the deaths of two girls and left three others critically injured. The Ghana National Fire Service confirmed the details, stating that the deceased were passengers in the Acura vehicle.
The two girls who died in the accident have been buried.
Ongoing Investigation
The case is currently under investigation by the police to determine the exact circumstances and any potential charges.
Bullgod hopes that the bereaved families understand the situation and that the legal process will provide clarity and justice.
