The NPP supporters have expressed their hope that today’s parliamentary session will reaffirm their confidence in the party’s leadership and serve as a turning point in the ongoing political standoff. With tensions running high, the presence of these supporters adds to the charged atmosphere surrounding the parliamentary session.

Supreme Court Ruling Sparks Showdown

The current political tension stems from the Speaker of Parliament’s earlier decision to declare the four seats vacant, a move that the Supreme Court found to be unconstitutional. This legal reversal has paved the way for today’s parliamentary sitting, which many predict will be a decisive moment in the party’s efforts to retain key parliamentary seats.

Party leaders have called for calm and urged their supporters to show restraint as Parliament navigates this critical issue. However, the sheer number of NPP supporters gathered outside the House indicates the level of public interest and the high stakes involved.
