MP for Tano North appointed as New Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
Freda Prempeh, MP for Tano North and Minister of State at the Presidency has been appointed by President Akufo-Addo as the new Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.
Madam Freda Prempeh( MP for Tano North) was born on January 23, 1966 (age 57 years) at Duayaw Nkwanta. She was the Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection of Ghana since 2019.
She is an old student of the University of Ghana and also a member of the New Patriotic Party. Freda almost lost her life to the June 3, 2015 flood and fire disaster at circle, Accra.
Her current appointment was after Honorable Cecilia Dapaah resigned as the minister for sanitation following issues concerning her huge sums of stolen money.
