Five Times Bigger Than The Titanic , “ICON OF THE SEAS” Set To Debut In January
History awaits as the world’s largest and greatest ever cruise ship is set to debut in January 2024 in Miami .
The Royal Caribbean Cruises’ “ICON OF THE SEAS” is said to be 5 times bigger than the legendary and iconic RMS Titanic .
It measures at 365 meters (1, 198 feet) long . The ship will be able to accommodate 5, 610 passengers (double capacity) and 7 , 600 passengers (minimum capacity) with 2 , 250 crew members aboard along with 20 decks .
This ship will literally be a sailing wonder-land as it also boasts of housing several breathtaking and exhilarating recreational facilities and social amenities such as nine whirlpools , seven pools , a never seen before multi-purpose “central park themed” park and will have a top-notch dinning experiences , while sailing on a week-long Eastern and Western Caribbean itinerary and will visit Royal Caribbean’s private island , Perfect Day at CocoCay.
THE ICON OF THE SEAS ship was launched on 9th December , 2021 . Construction commenced on 5th April , 2022 . It will officially set sail on 27th , January 2024 .
