Minister of Employment Announces: Minimum Wage Increases From GHc14.88 to GH¢18.15.

The Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah , in a recent publication stated that the minimum wage of 14.88 has been increased to GH¢ 18.15.

The reason for this increase as said by the employment minister is because of the current economic situation in Ghana.

In view of this, the least salary every Ghanaian worker will receive is 18.15. This is one way through which the government of Ghana wants to curb issues of economic instability in the country.
