Ghanaian football icon Michael Essien is facing a major setback as two of his luxury properties in Accra, Ghana, are scheduled for auction. The former Chelsea and Black Stars midfielder’s houses, located in the affluent neighborhoods of East Legon and Trassaco, will go under the hammer on a court order issued by the Deputy Sheriff, High Court (Commercial Division), on June 12, 2024.
