East Legon: 2 Vehicles Burnt To Ashes After Colliding; Occupants Dead
A tragic accident occurred today, October 12, 2024, at East Legon, involving a head-on collision between two vehicles—a Jaguar and an Artura. The collision resulted in a fire that claimed the lives of two young women, who were burnt beyond recognition. Three others, including both drivers, suffered severe injuries and are currently fighting for their lives.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the accident was caused by overspeeding. According to reports, one of the vehicles crashed into a wooden electric pole, leading to fallen cables that likely ignited the fire. Firefighters are still working to recover one of the deceased bodies that remains trapped within the wreckage.
