Akua Donkor Names Radio Presenter Roman Fada As Her Running Mate
In a strategic move ahead of Ghana’s 2024 elections, Akua Donkor, the visionary founder and presidential candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has announced her running mate: renowned radio presenter Kwabena Agyeman Appiah Kubi, popularly known as Roman Fada.
Roman Fada, celebrated for his role as the Drive Time Show host at Accra’s Atinka FM, also boasts a notable reputation as the manager of iconic Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba.
His selection comes after a previous plan to partner with another media figure, Adakabre Frimpong, fell through due to scheduling conflicts.
The announcement has sparked a wave of reactions across social media, as supporters and critics alike weigh in on the unexpected choice.
With the election date of December 7 approaching, Akua Donkor is expected to unveil her manifesto soon, emphasizing key issues such as the Free Senior High School initiative and combating illegal mining (galamsey).
