I Will Not Forgive You – Angry Nana Ama McBrown Threatens Empress Gifty
Screen goddess and beloved Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has publicly declared that she will never forgive gospel musician Empress Gifty. This declaration comes after Empress Gifty’s last-minute cancellation of her appearance on McBrown’s popular show, Onua Showtime.
The Incident
In a video circulating on social media, Nana Ama McBrown expressed her deep disappointment and frustration over Empress Gifty’s sudden decision. According to McBrown, she had reached an agreement with Empress Gifty regarding her appearance on the show, and promotional materials had already been released to the public.
“I want to ask for your forgiveness,” McBrown addressed her fans during the recent episode of her show. “You would all bear me out that Empress Gifty was seen on the flyer for today’s episode of Onua Showtime. We just got the information that due to some reasons best known to her, she wouldn’t be able to appear on the show. We would like to use this opportunity to beg all Ghanaians and anyone who was in anticipation to see Empress Gifty on the show”.
McBrown took the opportunity to apologize to her fans and followers for the absence of Empress Gifty, acknowledging the anticipation and excitement that had been built up. However, her disappointment was palpable as she directed her message to Empress Gifty, expressing how much the last-minute cancellation hurt her.
“We thank her for calling to inform us, but it pains us that she didn’t come and at the last minute, she is calling us to inform us,” McBrown said.
“Empress, you are now telling me that you cannot appear on my show at the last minute. You have my number, you know both my WhatsApp and direct numbers. What at all has happened that you were not able to call to inform me? You have made your producer call my producer to inform him that you can’t come. If I do the same to you, will you be happy? Call me or I will never forgive you.”
