“A Country Called Ghana”: Van Vicker Reveals the Real Reason Behind His Absence from Lil Win’s Movie
Ghanaian actor Van Vicker has opened up about why he did not participate in Kwadwo Nkansah—Lil Win’s—film, “A Country Called Ghana.” Contrary to the initial reports that he outrightly declined the role, he explained that his academic commitments made it impossible for him to meet Lil Win’s demand for a 30-day filming schedule.
Instead, he proposed a compromise of being on set for just ten days, which Lil Win rejected. Interestingly, Van Vicker noted that Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah, who eventually took the role, also only spent about ten days on set. This discrepancy left the actor feeling disappointed, as he believed Lil Win could have accommodated his schedule as well.
